Story

A neighborhood family had mysteriously disappeared on Thanksgiving Day. As part of a group of investigators, we were sent to find out the whereabouts of this missing family.

Puzzles

Summerfield Place offered a unique set of puzzles that were paired with some interesting set pieces. All components came together to reveal a great surprise narrative. Gameplay flowed very well in this escape room and there were more than enough tasks to complete for a our team of four.

Production Value/Immersion

Entering the home of the missing family, it truly felt like visiting a family dinner set up for the holiday. This room felt quaint and true to a livable space. As the game progressed, some set pieces and items that at first appeared to be mundane revealed themselves to be multi-dimensional in terms of functionality.

Highlights

There’s more that meets the eye with this escape room. Through the use of cleve gameplay and interesting set pieces, clues are riddled throughout the room. This game scales in excitement and intrigue, which makes it a stand out as compared to many games we’ve played in the area.

Summerfield Place prompts players to make a crucial decision towards the end of the game. This was a fun aspect that made us feel truly in control of the ending.

Shortcomings

There was a key task that our group, as seasoned escapers, were hesitant on committing to.
