We were lost in space and oxygen was running out… Our team had to pinpoint the problem and set a course towards home.
While most of the gameplay was very linear, many of these puzzles required our team to work together. We always appreciate when rooms require the whole team to contribute to a specific task. It’s fun to get everyone involved to collaborate. However even with a group, some of these puzzles were quite challenging.
The set made it feel like we were on a spaceship. White walls and bright green screens were everywhere. There was a great use of technology to really craft the setting of the bridge of a ship.
Speaking of technology, the set up was great for an escape room! As the room advanced, there was plenty to uncover. We truly enjoyed how thematic most of the puzzles were to the narrative including themes such as morse code and astronomy.
The largest fault in this room was how linear gameplay ended up being. While it made sense narratively, we ended up in puzzle bottlenecks multiple times.
Additionally, there was a dexterity obstacle that felt like it was only there to eat up time.
This Room is a Good Match for
This was a tough room that required a wide array of problem solving. Outer Space would be a tough task for newer players but for more seasoned gamers, it provides an awesome set and fun gameplay.
