We had woken up in a strange white room. Where were we? How did we get there? How will we get out?
At first, we were befuddled as to how any space within the room could be anything other than a white wall. After a few minutes of detailed inspection, it all began to come together and the game’s puzzles really began to shine. While some puzzles were hidden, others were subtly sitting right before our eyes. They spanned a great range in regards to type of interaction and offered something for everyone to work on simultaneously. While not for everyone, our group loved the in-depth mathematical puzzles this room provided.
For a blank white canvas, this room had much going on behind the scenes to eventually be uncovered. It began feeling like the movie, The Cube and was a really creative theme that stands out against many of the other standard plotlines we see.
This experience felt less like being in an escape room and more like being plucked out of our world and into some strange experience. Starting without any guidance or clue set up a disorienting and uneasy vibe from the start which really added to the experience.
While the room was truly a mystery, our group would have enjoyed more narrative once the game progressed.

The Experiment is the ideal curveball escape room experience. The concept and gameplay are so far out there that this room would be a very memorable experience for players of all skill levels.
